Soho Pel

On a mooch through Soho this evening I was enticed into an interesting shop being run by dapper Peregrine. He managed to sell me a hat, even though I bought one only a couple of weeks ago. But part of the deal was for him to pose wearing a trilby so it was a fair exchange.

We had a good chat about the social history of the original mod days and established that his dad was probably a contemporary of mine back in the day. He is usually called Pel for short and in his youth was a model for the Paul Smith brand in Japan.  Now he is a dead ringer for Charlie Watts.
