or just didn't get home in time.

Admittedly a poor photo but it is the first time I have seen a flying fox sleeping all by itself on a high voltage wire as the roosting trees are about 3 ks further up the road.

I have a facination with these lovely creatures - every night thousands leave the trees down the road from where I life and will fly up to 50 kms away in search of food. My apricots and the plums out the back get a bit of a hammering.
