Lovely smell

The mahonia is by the front door and it smells lovely.

It was a gorgeous day. There were birds singing in the garden; there were bees enjoying the flowers and I saw a butterfly too.

My son has food poisoning so he was up all night. I had a disturbed night too. He is a bit better today.

Hopefully we’ll both have a better night tonight.

It’s my sister’s birthday today so I called her this morning to send my birthday greetings
