Ready to pounce.

I took O to Wisley and met B there.  It was really, really busy being half term and a lovely day and the roadworks around the M25 that will be in place for the next two years did not seem to deter visitors.

O was good, as always, but wasn’t himself.  He had a little wander but was more than happy to stay in his pushchair.  Most unusual.  He had a short nap in the car on the way to Wisley and was coughing again.  By the time we stopped for tea, cake and a bite of lunch for him.  He seemed exhausted. He was still smiley and chattering away.  I laid his pushchair down and he dozed off. Woke before we got back to the car with rosy red cheeks and then fell back to sleep on the way home.

Both mummy and daddy were home and I said he needed a proper sleep and I didn’t think he was well.  Daddy went and got him from the car and put him to bed where he fell back to sleep.

They said he woke with a temperature, had cuddles, a little bit of dinner and perked up a bit before bed/bath time.  Bless him.  He didn’t whinge or be miserable but was obviously not feeling great.
