Trio

The Three Wise Cormorants were keeping very still in their different poses. Unlike famous trios before them they weren't bearing gifts (the Men), handing out cryptic prophecies (the Wyrd Sisters), or even advice on what to do if evil is about (the Monkeys).  They were just patiently waiting on their little island, possibly for better weather, but who really knows.

When I saw them, my initial reaction was "Meh, just cormorants".  Then I realised what I might be able to make of them with a little judicious editing  a photo editor, I quite like the end result - particularly given the very unflattering lighting conditions, but it does help to see it in its larger version.
