Ready for redevelopment

The old Shredded Wheat factory in Welwyn Garden City is increasingly dilapidated each time I visit. At least someone has added an interesting decoration to the relatively new tank beside the building.

There will be a lot of expensive work required to restore the building and convert it, as planned, into an Art Cinema, Food Hall and, on top of the old silos, a bar and event space - all part of the proposed "Wheat Quarter".  I wonder how much the plans will be modified, simplified and cost reduced as time passes.
