Early Bird

At first light I was Owling so a very early bird primarily because I couldn't sleep! The dogs wondered what had hit them eating breakfast in the dark without their more leisurely awakening. 

I've been out to lunch at  a friend's whom I've known for decades as our kids went to school together and been thoroughly spoilt. I don't think we had chance to draw breath!

Walked the dogs when I got home then set up the camera gear in my tent hide and sat there for nearly three hours but the foxes didn't come in. Possibly, this was due to the fact I had to change the lights around and they weren't familiar with the set up.
