Grasmere Rainy Day

Woke up this morning to heavy rain, usually a good option for photographing, with brighter colours, glistening shiny leaves and stones.

Today however the rain ws just a bit too heavy, making it difficult to keep he lens clear of rain long enough to take a picture.

In any case we walked around the lake and took a few shots, including this atmospheric shot of the village and the hills softened by the falling rain
