Hong Kong Hosts
Today was the celebration for the end of the Welcome Course. Everyone brought along dishes and snacks. So many new foods to try from Hong Kong! I think my favourite was Tea Eggs - boiled, then the shells cracked, and re-boiled in a tea with star anise, cinnamon, bay leaf, soy sauce, sugar, salt and tea - so because of the tea getting through the cracks you end up with a sort of brown marbled boiled egg, that in my opinion tastes great! These were made by Rita - blipped. They also brought chop-sticks and instructed us in how to use them more efficiently! A fun, sociable time with them all! Lots of extras! And I’m now all caught up on back blips in time for Mum and Dad to arrive tomorrow.
