Snowdrops at last

Being away I thought we’d missed this year’s snowdrops. I was wrong, there was a magnificent display on the bank near the station which we walked past this afternoon. L

This enabled me to get down to their level and see them in a different perspective. Don’t they have a sadness about them with downcast eyes? And there’s water droplets on the flowers too.

Solved the mystery of some preserved roses that had been delivered while we were away. Addressed to us both with no idea who sent them and why. Now it’s left us with a dilemma.
