When you’re moving in to a new home, sometimes it feels as though every step depends on something else being done first. Our shutters have been a major holdup. They have been delayed by one of those Covid-related supply issues. Until the shutters were in, we couldn’t build the desks and bookshelves for the study (flat packs of course). Until they were built, we couldn’t unpack the boxes for the study, which meant we couldn’t arrange the spare bedroom where the boxes were stored. And so on.
So we were delighted today to get a call to tell us that the shutters had arrived and Trent would install them today.
