lovely cygnets on an outing with mum & dad
they are one week old

we nearly missed them...the nest looked abandoned....strange that just when we were going back to the car, a lovely lady asked us were we looking for the swan family...to make a long store short....she pointed us to a brook along the Castle Moat in Whittington.....and here they are

I think they are very cute, even though number one's beak is the same colour as the water....(same in colour....but I thought soft sepia was nicer.......:)
