Printing press

Paul spent a couple of hours this morning producing some prints on this press using an engraved copper plate that my dad had created back in 1982. You can see the print in the extras. He’d made quite a few plates and we found prints of all the others when clearing the house, but no prints from this one. It’s a view of our cottage in north Wales where we spent all our childhood holidays, so I was really keen to get a print of it. And luckily, because Paul is doing his PhD in the typography department at the uni, he knew a tutor who could do the printing. Very serendipitous and I’m so pleased with the results!
