Beyond Ithaka

We had a date with our plumber this morning who came to put a digital control/thermostat on our boiler. The one we had was switching on with the timer but then the clock would get stuck and it wouldn't switch off. Not what you want with energy prices as they are.

But this was fortuitous, as it meant we were out for a walk in the afternoon when the weather was glorious. Towards the end of the walk I took this shot of a very special wire fairy. Beyond Ithaka was commissioned in honour of NHS Organ Donation. The sculptor is Robin Wight and there are 21 of his wire fairies around Trentham Gardens.
