TesseracT

My first gig of my 40s was TesseracT at the O2 Academy, Islington tonight. It was the first time I had seen the djent metallers in a headline slot and it absolutely exceeded my high expectations. I was pretty much transfixed throughout.

Their 2011 album, 'One' has been in steady rotation on my iPod since I first started listening to them and despite an unfortunate conveyer belt of vocalists in the past few years, they seem to have hit their stride again with new vocalist Ashe O'Hara. New album is out at the end of this month, already streaming via their website and looks set to be another firm favourite for me.
