Because I had a day off yesterday I was baking early doors this morning to try and catch up a bit. This is the marmalade cake which was really really lovely, easy and quick to make and delicious to eat (the perfect cake!).

I also made a different banana cake and something called Vegan Chocolate Squares. The banana cake was also lovely and photographed well. The chocolate squares however were a revelation. They looked extremely (thinks of a nice way to put it) dull and unappealing in the tin but goodness me they taste fabulous. I've 'tested' more of this than anything else I've baked so far.

It just goes to show. Books and covers etc.
