WW1 Camera
One of the members of the U3A Digital Camera Club gave a talk on the history of photography this afternoon. Another of our members brought along this Ensignette folding camera. It was launched in 1909 and it folds up to fit into a small breast pocket.
It was a popular camera with soldiers in WW1 who even used them to take photos in the trenches. A fascinating item.
