Gloucester's Carbuncle

The Gloucestershire Royal Hospital tower block was built in the 1970's and is scheduled for a 12 million pound facelift.
Problem is, it will still stick up all 11 storey's and be the dominant feature as you approach Gloucester rather than the Cathedral.
I took this late afternoon when picking up F.M.i.L from her day care centre, which she attends for one and a half days each week.
