Spontaneous meet

On the way back from a productive recycling morning at Saffron Walden dump and the charity shops I got an unexpected call from my friend Andrea who happened to be in Linton.  We managed in the end to have lunch together at the Flying Shuttle in Haverhill and catch up on 6 months worth of news.

I then met up with Sandra, in Linton, and stayed in the pub until my Friday friends arrived.  It's been a lovely sociable day.

I've been inspired to get a move on with sorting out the garage as Saffron Walden recycling centre (Essex) will no longer be available to Cambridgeshire residents after 13 March... and it's 100 x better than any other of the nearby alternatives.
