Rydal Cave

We drove into the lakes and met C&N and the grandchildren at White Moss for a circuit of Rydal Water.  The children moaned a bit about the walk but once we were underway they enjoyed it and especially liked Rydal Cave.  When we reached the lake's edge they loved throwing stones in the water.

They did well - almost 4 miles and grandson is only just 5.  From here to lunch and then a trip to the swings near Miller Ground.  

Home for a light tea and they have now left us until tomorrow.  We are both totally shattered.
