Weekend away

Away with my friends for a walking weekend (honestly!) .  Glad to be away - there was a brief moment when I wasn't sure I would make it. Django had pilfered Lucie's banana loaf, which was left on the kitchen table. It had a lot of black  chocolate, sultanas, raisins and nuts. We took him to the vet and he had to have something to make him empty his stomach. He is okay but our wallet is a bit lighter... 
Kermit, not one to be outdone by a dog, had a nibble at the spinach and salmon quiche I made yesterday for the weekend - he managed to lift the covering - thankfully, it was just small corner... 
I have limited wifi here so will catch up with your journals later. 
I have back-blipped yesterday.
