Dinner at Sze's and Moving to Bugis

A quieter morning after Bb's birthday celebrations and we then made the move to our new hotel for the rest of our stay here. Just a 10 minute taxi ride away, but it feels like another world. We're now in the Bugis area and the Clover Hotel, just two floors. We were on the 26th in the Hilton Orchard! We had a wander round the streets nearby - fabric shops, batik shirts, oils, spices, Indian and Indonesian food. Not a designer shop in sight here!  

At night, we were off to a different area again and for dinner to Sze's, a friend from our Budapest days. Great to meet her son M for the first time and catch up with her husband C.  Delicious Lebanese food, good conversation, lots of laughs and before we knew it, it was midnight. Not before we had a guest appearance from Sze's father, on a flying visit from Kuala Lumpar for a golf tournament. Oh, and there was even a dessert with a birthday candle for Bb!
