Dales part three
Lucky start to the day... A lie in!!
Rest of the day not quite so good. The car was not repairable with the many spanners that were offered by Neil Daykin at The Victoria, Worton, so we had to head back -in limp mode- home to swap over and bring my car back. That in itself was not the best of situations and the day was made far worse by me accidentally slinging himself's camera to the decks and wrecking it...BAD GIRL!
Silent drive back to the Dale !
As is the norm whilst here we stopped at the The Vic on our way back only to find to our shock and amazement that it was closed, this is unheard of so has left us more than a tad concerned as to Ralph's - the ageing and very poorly landlord- situation, he has been in hospital, following a bad fall, since February!
We hope all is well, but have fears.
Back at the cottage now and I'm getting a partial night off as himself is cooking supper.
