I tied up final meetings in Cardiff today before heading to the hotel pool for a swim and a sauna. Mr C and I then headed out for dinner across the Bay.

This part of Cardiff has seen massive regeneration over the last twenty years. The Cardiff Barrage has created a huge lake, 8 miles of waterfront, and a swathe of new buildings, shops, bars and restaurants. It’s a great place to eat out and I imagine is even more lively in the summer.

We had a lovely dinner and I’m just sorry there was no time for a freshly made Welsh cake, cooked to order whilst you wait in the shop round the corner. Next time.
