Close To The Edge, Aylesford

Was so glad to get home yesterday after a very boring day at work where the hours dragged by with nothing to do. Luckily, as soon as I was off the train my brother picked me up and we went for a drink, as usual, at the King & Queen in East Malling. The pub was very busy, which was great to see, but it took us a while to find a seat so we could begin our Friday night festivities. One of our rituals is we then get home, put the ready meal in the oven and then watch an old episode of Top Of The Pops. On BBC iPlayer they are now up to February 1994. Each programme, however good or bad the music is, brings back memories so it's a great way to relax into the weekend.
For some reason this road sign reminded of a song by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five (best name for a band ever!) that features the following lyrics:

… Don't push me
'Cause I'm close to the edge
I'm trying not to lose my head
Ah-huh-huh-huh
It's like a jungle sometimes it makes me wonder
How I keep from going under
