Five Heads

(Better than one?)

This morning I got up as soon as Brian left for work. This gave me time to watch last nights' Super League game before going over to my Dad's. I will get to see all the televised games this week which is good! Last nights' saw newly promoted and rebranded Leigh Leopards take on Salford. There was huge razzmatazz pre-match and the game was pretty good too. Leigh did not look out of place in Super League and I think that while they may not pick up silverware they will at least stay up! It ended Leigh 10 Salford 20.

Then it was off to catch the train. I left a little early as I'd noticed this window display in a flower shop just along the road from the station. The shop used to be down an alley on the High Street - I think their new location will be better for them. They did not have window displays before. 

Anyway, my Dad had survived my only having two visits this week and was fine! There was not much to do there. I cooked him some Gluten free spaghetti so he could have Bolognese for a change. I think I might make Bolognese for us tomorrow too!

Work was quiet last night for a Friday - quieter than Thurs! Some good news is that we will have a new member of staff starting next week, so Zeiyit won't be working alone. He is Hekmat's little brother. Hekmat is about 5'4" tall, and his brother is a younger and even smaller version of him!

A regular customer came in - a lady about my age or a little younger. She's a proper party girl, always out on the weekends. She was the soberest I'd ever seen her and said she was saving herself for today, as she and 15 mates are going out, starting lunchtime! I laughed and asked if I was to be prepared for all 16 of them rolling in drunk at the end of the night. She said yes! So I have that to look forward to. Eeep!! Zeiyit will be more worried - she and her mates harass him as it is!

Once home from my Dad's today we watched the Rugby League. Wigan lost to Hull KR. Of the six teams I watched this weekend we are the least impressive - too many mistakes, too many silly penalties! And our dead-eye kicker could not find his kicking boots. Well I don't think we can be that bad again all season...I hope! Much room for improvement!

Off to get changed and go to work again now!
