Fellow Glasgow Residents
I had a day off today which was really needed! Did some house jobs in the morning, but decided as a bit of a spur-of-the-moment thing the night before that I'd go get my hair cut. So I got the bus and headed into town. It's quite nice sitting on a coach and watching the world go by on roads that you'd normally drive on.
Had some time to kill before heading to my hair appointment so went to see some of the murals on the official glasgow trial. Glasgow is pretty good for street art (as anyone who follows gblrps' blips will know), and there are some official works around the centre. At some point I'll venture to go see some of the 'not sanctioned' ones but today I was sticking to the ones that I could find with the help of a map. This one was my favourite that I saw which is a huge mural above a rather unimpressive car park. Had to hang around akwardly for a couple of minutes waiting for a woman to finish getting stuff out of her car before I could blip but was worth it. The artist here is Smug, who also did a great wildlife mural at nearby Baron's Haugh.
Met with P after my hair was done and his work was done and got some tasty Thai food to celebrate our 20th anniversary, but we were both a bit too tired to really get into the celebratory spirit. We were back home for 8 to finish off House of the Dragon. We're both very much looking forward to a week off!
