For those who do not recognise these famous lines they come from one of the outstanding songs of the 1960's, a defining point in music. Indeed this song was chosen by Noel Coward as his favorite track when he was on Desert Island Disks.(thank you Mrs. Google)
This specific hole is to accommodate a weeping Siberian Crabapple. I am planting this and several other shrubs before covering all the black weed suppressant with slate chippings. Because they need bigger holes its easier this way. I will plant the perennials and small shrubs that will be following through the slate.
Of course I will have to buy them first.
