Pennington Flash

Early start for a couple of hours around the country park and 173 acre lake.
A ‘Flash’ is a lake formed because of subsidence, in this case collapsed coal mines. That’s a lot of land to just sink.
Anyway, it was quiet, bracing & thoroughly enjoyable.
A snoring mutt is the icing on the cake.
