Unwanted souvenir

A hasty, late night contribution to Abstract Thursday's shapes theme, an unwanted souvenir from our 5 am dash to A&E following a long, wakeful night monitoring J while waiting (for five hours) for the promised callback from NHS 111. All is well: the advice to take her for blood tests and an ECG was largely cautious, and we were happy to follow it. It was not as busy as we feared: tests were done soon after we arrived, and once the results were available we did not wait too long to be seen by a doctor, who checked everything again, then reassured us that it was fine to take J home. We were there for about three hours before driving back for breakfast and a couple of hours sleep, after which we spent the rest of the day in something of an exhausted daze, doing very little.
