Irises everywhere
I was so knocked out by Kath's iris yesterday that now they leap out at me and bowl me over with their beauty. Thanks Kath! This one I shot on an early morning walk.
Oh what a glorious morning! Poor Mundy has a creaky hip that makes walking uncomfortable, so I walked for him today. It is our favourite walk, down the road past pretty gardens, over a railway bridge newly cleansed of all graffitti, along silent, woody pathways to a little river, then across a field to a little fishing pond that borders a busy street where two fishermen were trying their luck - wonderful reflections - past a shady forest with towering trees and then back along a busy road where pigeons shelter under another railway bridge, nip along a leafy lane and home again to download dozens of shots and do the walk all over again lying in bed with Munds.
He loved it.
