however, it was meant to be woods of blue and purple.

Today's trip to the bluebell woods ended in a fail as either the bluebells have been and gone or are yet to appear. I'm not sure which.

So as we were travelling back home, I remembered seeing a field of daffs at Mains of Ravensby Farm near Carnoustie. A quick reverse down a farm lane and hop into the field and I was able to snap a few photos. The daffs are on their way out though, as they were a bit crispy.
