Russian Garlic

this is a giant Russian garlic. Last year I had one flower and this year is up to four. I chopped these back today as they were in the way of where I wanted to walk. Last year the flower stalk grew straight up for about 2 metres. This year they went all over the place in amongst the roses I wanted to prune. I will put them in the vase that had alstroemerias over the last month. 

We had another warm day but not too bad. Low 30s. I walked mid morning and found I was quicker than the last few days.
