An Empires Tribute

To Henry Campbell-Bannerman, British PM 1905-1908. Liberal MP for the Stirling parish, and leader of the Liberals from 1899-1908, the year he died. It's located on Corn Exchange Road, near other statues of Rob Roy McGregor, and Robert Burns. Quite a busy wee spot.

This is obviously not the chap himself: this fine statue sits at the base of the monument, and presumably represents the British Empire, in all its magnitude and indefatigability.
