Smaller Family

A slow start after my long journey yesterday.
I felt that I wanted a long walk to clear my head, so we went up to the swan pond and then on to the allotment, making a circuit back home.
The swans are now down to five.  Two more signets have left now, and unfortunately the senior male has died after receiving an injury that couldn't be treated.  The original female and new younger male are down at the nesting end of the pond most of the time.
We worked hard at the allotment and came back home exhausted!
