A penny worth
On our walk this afternoon we passed a piece of rough ground near the Green, on which a large flock of sparrows were chirruping and swooping around a clump of brambles and ivy. It’s a commonplace scene, but one which I haven’t actually come across for some years. The only sparrows I’ve seen lately in my area have been the ones in the journal of fellow blipper jophreeves, who lives a few miles away from me!
More sparrows in extras, plus a rear view of a Canada goose at the Johnston Road pond, which rather amused me!
"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s will. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows." Matthew 10:29-31
