Happy dog

A relaxing Sunday. MrM and I went down to Alnmouth for a late-afternoon walk on the beach. It was blowing a gale, but thanks to the recent high tide the sand was wet and we weren't sandblasted!

The Blip was to have been a shot of the deserted beach at sundown, but couldn't resist posting this one instead. The man and his dog crossed in front of us, and the dog seemed to be having a wonderful time, retrieving its stick and dropping it to be thrown into the sea again!

A walk through the town and back to the van, before heading to The Oak in Alnwick, where we had a very good Sunday roast.  Home just in time to watch the latest episode of Vera on TV. We're still trying to work out where parts of it were filmed!
