Trebah Garden
Trebah Garden is listed in the worlds top gardens to see, and we got there today.
The drizzle has cleared up and we even had some glimmers of sunshine.
It’s situated near Falmouth and has its own little private beach, where once the D-Day landings craft set off.
There are nine champion trees to discover and surely the greatest of them was this impressive Magnolia campbellii, the Giant pink tulip tree. It must be fifty foot tall and can be seen from the opposite side of the valley, glowing amongst the greenery.
Also some fine tree ferns which need no frost protection here, and grow to a very fine size.
I’m so pleased we made it at last!
