Sunday pastimes

Just had to share this photo for today !  Beautifully warm and sunny, I put both Candy the guinea pig and Tortie the err... tortoise, in the garden and spent a couple of hours there myself, planting the recently purchased hyacinths and narcissi.  Had to smile when around 3pm, even though the sun was still shining, Tortie clearly decided it was time for bed, and took herself off to her straw filled hibernation box from which she has so recently woken. It will take a few days to wake up completely from her 4-5 month sleep.

After this, I went to help Charlie and Maddy with a major cupboard of stuff clear out which took nearly four hours but the result was a super sorted  space and a mountain of bags for the charity shop or council tip tomorrow.

A very satisfying day, I hope yours was too. !
