Coogee Beach

Australia has tens of thousands of kilometres of coastline, the actual number varying depending on whether small off-shore islands (off-island islands, if you like) and estuaries are included.

It was 32C air temp, 26C in the water. The pool was too crowded for laps so I floated, looking up at gulls slicing the sky and down at lattices of light.

This is three years. A stretch of coastline I’ll continue to follow. Everything and nothing has changed.
