Red Kite Acrobatics

I spent ages this morning watching a pair of red kites cavorting around the sky together. Swopping and soaring and racing together - occasionally flying claw to claw - although I didn’t catch any of the long cartwheeling fall joined together by the talons that they perform.

I was lucky on a few shots that the sun came out and showed them up better against the grey skies.

I have added a couple more in extras - it was captivating to watch.
