Noises from the SW Front

Casting a long shadow

One of a pair of Turkey Vultures, spotted on the neighbors roof-peak by the dog.  Her growling made us look.  They were about 30 feet apart, both stretching their wings to catch the morning sun.  Sadly, the light and distance, coupled with my limited skill taxed the capabilities of my phone to get a good clear shot, but you get the idea.  After the photo, this one walked across and cuddled-up to the other for a few minutes before they flew off.
