A Monday of two halves

Unusually for me I found myself at work at 9 am on a Monday morning. It must be about four years since I last had this experience; the traffic was appalling and the meeting was a rather long affair. It was nearly midday before I got away and could start my day off.

Mondays are clearly best delegated.

Had lunch in the local pub with TSM and an old friend of ours, and her 9 mth old baby. Maternity leave is nearly up. Baby is lovely, full of smiles. Very decadently TSM and I both had two halves of beer. Great way to start the week.

After four busy days I can have some chill time tomorrow. Much needed.
