Tyred out.

The soft tyre of this car was obviously no match for a very hard impact. I understand it was parked at the time and had been struck, possibly by a stolen car. 

Extra 1: 22yrs ago, plus a few days, I had a severe cycling accident on black ice. It was almost a year before I could pedal reasonably well. On each anniversary of that awful day, I cycle to the scene just to say to myself that I came through. Obviously much slower now, but still upright.
