Keeping busy

Today I have bern trying to keep busy while some tablets kick in for nerve pain in my mouth.

Started with a leisurely morning snuggled up with my boy. Daddy is away working so he wanted to ring him lots. We tidied his playroom and then to occupy us both we made lemon curd and fairy cakes.

Then his little friend from school popped round as he had his jumper! They had a great play and then the girls arrived for sleepover. They had cottage pie for tea and I made a beef rendang for tomorrow or when I feel like eating.

The children are in bed so I just made a lemon drizzle cake with a layer of lemon curd inside hoping it comes out ok!

So now little rest time :)
