Dinner

Z and S had a couple of appointments today, but joined R (who was working from home) and I (who was largely just lounging about, though I did take Alfie for a walk) for lunch.

After lunch, Z and S went off to her afternoon appointment, leaving us looking after Casper.  Then the young lass who helps out by walking Alfie some afternoons lost hold of him when he lunged after a cat, so R had to go out hunting.  Leaving me "holding the baby" - who fortunately slept through the drama.

This evening, R and G had friends round for a games session, so I went over to Z's.  She was very keen to try something new, and cooked chicken and mushroom pie.  The chicken and mushroom was really tasty, the pie crust was unfortunately a little undercooked.
