Microwave doover

The microwave oven in the new house is far more sophisticated than our previous one and we are still exploring its functions. We are assured that this plastic doover is essential if we want to boil liquids quickly in the microwave. We don’t actually boil anything in our microwave (isn’t that why you have a kettle?), so we haven’t tested the doover yet. It does seem a rather homely instrument for such a space age appliance.
