Yellow ladybird on arum lily leaf

Summer. It is the season for ladybirds to be out and about, and so can be spring and autumn. In the cold months they hide away and hibernate. I was particularly pleased to see a yellow one. This one was particularly tiny.

Thank you to all who responded to my egg photo yesterday. Most of you gave me your preferences - poached, runny, soft in the middle, hard in the white, with soldiers etc. And many of you couldn't resist cracking (!) jokes (yolks!). Oh dear!

Thanks for hosting Debbi.
