Pancake Day

It was my turn to host Mahjong this week, so as it is Shrove Tuesday I decided to give them Scotch pancakes. They were very popular with apricot jam, and there were some left over for Norman. I found the little knives at the back of the cutlery drawer. They have mother of pearl handles and engraved silver blades. I looked up the hallmark and found it was a Sheffield mark for 1858. There are forks to match.
