The Fold

We went out to The Fold this morning for late morning coffee running into one of their excellent Black Bean Chilli lunches.  After lunch we took a walk round the lake. As usual it was quiet there, just a couple of fishermen on the banks.  The weather was not as sunny as yesterday, but it was still dry if a bit bleak.

From there we went to Blackpole to visit a couple of shops on the large precincts there.  We ended up at Dunelm looking at curtains, and sampling their cafe with another coffee and pot of tea.

Whilst walking round the lake I spotted this tree covered in tiny white berry type buds.  Also I spotted a Christmas-type bear on one of the trees  holding a 'Special Dad' plaque, possibly a memorial? It is very small, so I've added it to the extras.
